The Home Office's Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997 state that employees should be able to operate any fire fighting equipment provided, and sufficient number of employees should be trained in the use of fire extinguishers, particularly in areas where there are special risks Flammable and combustible materials can be identified in all work places, and realistic fire extinguisher training can ensure a safer working environment for all employees and can be a good investment for your company at a time of emergency.
The Mobile Fire Extinguisher Training Unit can simulate Class A, B, C and Electrical fires with a choice of three differenttypes of electrical scenarios
Incorporated with these scenarios is a pyrotechnic flash, which simulates fuse overload or electrical short circuits. The unit is mounted on a trailer, it is propane - fueled and relatively clean which means the unit can be used in more confined spaces, because of the type of operation instant repeatable fire scenarios lead to more effective training sessions. We use propane fuel as the burning agent therefore this unit complies with the Environmental Protection Act 1990 due to its clean combustion and requires no handling of solid combustible materials or liquid fuels. An operators control trolley ensures complete control over the fire scenarios at all times, this includes the intensity of the fire.
